An hour of classical hatha yoga to stretch, strengthen, tone and relax your whole body. Some flows are incorporated once the basic postures have been learned. A deep guided relaxation/meditation at the end helps you sleep like a baby.
This class is suitable for everyone including complete beginners. It is a general yoga class to develop a healthier body with good posture and a balanced mind.
If you compliment this class with some aerobic exercise two or three times a week such as walking, swimming, hiking, running, spinning etc. you can be almost guaranteed to achieve better fitness, flexibility, strength and improved health.
Post natal mums – Babies over 6 months are allowed in the morning class but unlike the level 1 postnatal class they must be taken out of the room if they are crying so as not to disturb the flow of the class. Postnatal mums are encouraged to read our post ‘How soon can I exercise after giving birth?’ before taking this or any other exercise class to see if they are ready.
